And some good news, what started out as a OCK has turned into a CT position! Thanks Nath :)
So, since I've been scrapping like crazy trying to evolve my style a little, and with the new year on the horizon I thought I'd venture out and apply for some new CT work. Here are a few LOs I made with "Shiver" from Jeanette Bollinger Designs as a tryout for her CT call. Very cute kit, I think I'm addicted to the whimsical winter look!
Snow Angel
Winter Wonder
Sleeping Beauty
Special thanks to Tara & Sophie for the gorgeous pics!
My friend Claire of AC Designs over at Scrapbird asked for some last minute CT help on her new kit, Winter Wonderland. What a fun kit! The elements are so versitile, I could use this kit to make an endless number of pages. Anyway, here's a preview of the kit, and the page I made for her, and a link to see some of the other beautiful CT work:
Finally a page for myself! It's been a while. Submitted to a Shabby Pickle challenge. I think it's my new fav. ETA: The submission won me a GC!! woohoo!
Credits: Kasia, NatashaNast, NLD Journaling reads: Growing up I was never conviced that Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny existed, but I always believed my Papa fixed the moon. Even though he has been gone for almost 7 years, I still imagine it is his face that shines down upon me while I dream.
Christa over at EJ Mack Designs is really on a roll! Just in time for Halloween, she's got an adorable full kit called Autumn Twilight. You can pick it up from her store here (or by clicking the preview). Here's an LO from me with the kit. Too fun to play with!
Here's another awesome mini kit from Christa at EJ Mack Designs called Autumn Twilight! I just love the colors :) You can download the kit from her blog.
I had a lot of fun putting together this LO. Hope you enjoy the kit as much as I do!
My friend Christa of EJ Mack Designs is participating in a really special blog train to promote awareness for domestic violence and abuse. Please visit her blog to learn more about the cause, download the freebie, A Simple Wish, and check out some of the other stops on the blog train. Here's a preview of her beautiful kit, and an LO I made from it:
Here is my first CT layout. The element pack from Christa at EJ Mack Designs is called Emerald City Drizzle and features some really fun hand drawn elements. Here is a preview of the kit: You can pick it up in her Etsy shop here.
I've taken a bit of a break from scrapping lately, but I've been craving getting back into the swing of things. And what better motivation then to join up with some friends who have recently started designing kits as part of their CT? I'm super stoked for the opportunity. Hopefully good things to come soon!
In April I went on vacation with my family to Orlando, and ever since I've been wanting to make a book of it. So, here is the start of my first full digiscrap book! Yay :)
I was having a bit of an experimental day, and decided to make 2 layouts using the same layout and pictures, only changing the elements to see how much I could change the feel of the page. So anyway, here are both attempts:
Credits: Harvest Spice by Shabby Princess Journaling reads: "The family. We are a strange little band of characters trucking through life sharing diseases & toothpaste, coveting one another's deserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain & kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending & trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together."
